Institution Assessment and Reviews

Program Reviews

The purpose of academic program review is to guide the development of academic programs on a continuous basis. Program review is a process that evaluates the status, effectiveness, and progress of academic programs and helps identify the future direction, needs, and priorities of those programs. As such, it is closely connected to strategic planning, resource allocation, and other decision-making at the program, department, and college levels.

Operational Assessment Plans

The following assessment plans were developed to connect programs to the new GBC Mission and Strategic Plan 2022-2025. Since assessment is an on going process these will be updated annually, so the entire institutional will be continually improving to meet student's educational needs for success.

Curriculum Maps

The curriculum map below demonstrates how courses address program outcomes. The program outcomes are then mapped to the strategic plan to demonstrate student knowledge upon completion of their program of student and the institution's goals for knowledge obtained.
