Next Steps

Congratulations on being admitted to GBC! Once you've been admitted, you'll have to complete the tasks on your to-do list in order to successfully enroll in classes. These steps were developed to support your success at GBC.

1. Submit ACT/SAT scores or official transcripts from previous institutions.
2. If you don’t have scores/transcripts… no worries. Schedule the ACCUPLACER through the Academic Success Center.
   Use EdReady or the Accuplacer study guide to prepare!
3. Financial Aid may be available. Fill out your FAFSA and apply for scholarships. GBC’ s school code is 006977
4. Schedule an appointment with an advisor to select your classes for your educational plan by calling 775.327.2068 or by visiting us online. For questions about registration, please contact Admissions & Records 775.327.2059.
5. Setup a payment plan through your MyGBC or by calling the Controller’s Office 775.327.2090. Be sure to remain cognizant of the academic calendar for semester start dates, holidays and refund/drop dates.
6. If you would like to get familiar with campus before classes begin, you can arrange a guided tour of your campus.
7. If you have a disability or believe you may need accommodations for registration or courses you are enrolled in, contact the Director of Disability Resource Center at 775.327.2336.
8. WebCampus is the name of GBC's virtual campus. To take classes online at GBC, you will need a Windows computer with a fairly recent version of Windows installed (Windows 7 or better) or a Macintosh computer with 10.6 or newer.
