About 4,000 students are enrolled annually online from across the country and on campuses and centers across 86,500 square miles, two time zones, and ten of Nevada's largest counties. Prerequisites
Some classes have pre-enrollment requirements or prerequisites. For example, BIOL 223, Human Anatomy and Physiology I, must be completed prior to and is a prerequisite for BIOL 224, Human Anatomy and Physiology II.
If you feel that you have had the training or experience equivalent to the instruction given in specific required prerequisite courses, you may apply for permission to take a course without the prerequisite.
To apply for permission, complete a Prerequisite Override Form* from the GBC Admissions and Records Office or your GBC center, obtain the instructor's signature, and deliver it to your GBC center or to:
