  • Register as a GBC Student 775-327-2068 or admissions@gbcnv.edu.
  • Enroll in the CNA course. Assistance with enrolling in a GBC class.
  • Purchase a subscription from American Databank (Complio) 1-800-200-0853 or https://gbc.complio.com/. You will need to add these packages: vaccine tracking, drug screen, background check.
  • Before class begins: 1) Upload all required documents into your new complio account before class begins. 2) Complete drug screen. 3) Obtain BLS from American Heart association (AHA).
  • BLS is available at GBC call 775-327-2317.

The CNA course is a hybrid course consisting of three parts:

  • Theory 40 hours
  • Skills Lab 60 hours
  • Clinical 20 hours

Course length is 4-8 weeks depending on location.

You must be 16 years of age to enroll in a CNA course.

No, you do not need a high school diploma or a GED to enroll in a CNA course.
