• Entry-level employment in specific fields, technologies, or industries, or, if you are already employed, for upgrading your current position (the AAS program includes courses necessary for supervisory roles, for example).
• Enrollment in GBC ’s Bachelor of Applied Science degree program.

A minimum of 60 total credits is required for the AAS. Most specific programs require more. Check specific majors (see menu at left) or consult an adviser for specifics. Technical and occupational courses included in AAS degree programs are not intended for transfer to other institutions, although courses fulfilling General Education Requirements typically are transferable. If your intention is to prepare for transfer to a university, explore the Associate of Arts or Associate of Science degrees.
