| I was born in Elko and raised in Carlin, NV. I spent my summers at Wildhorse Resorvoir. I have been a nurse for 30 years and am presently working per diem for the Emergency Room. I started working at GBC as a Skills Lab Instructor for Nursing in 2004. After receiving my MSN degree, I became a full time nursing instructor at GBC. My favorite part of teaching is working with my computerized manikin.

| Catalog Description: | Practicum Theory 5.5 credits, Clinical 1.5 credits Companion course to NURS 434. Application course in which population-focused theory, knowledge, and skills to provide care for individuals, families, and groups are utilized in the rural community setting. Emphasis is on interpersonal and clinical therapies, coordination of community resources, and exploring the community as client. |
