ACE Committee Information

ACE Logo graphicThe mission of the Arts and Cultural Enrichment (ACE) Committee is to organize programs and events that expose our communities to diverse experiences, cultures, and viewpoints.

ACE provides access to the arts and fosters a spirit of inquiry, creativity, and reflection at Great Basin College with emphasis on:

  • Live Performing Arts
  • Humanities Speakers
  • Great Basin College Film Festival
  • Argentum - GBC's Literary and Creative Arts Publication
  • Great Basin College Art Gallery Exhibits and Events

The annual GBC Film Festival and other artistic ACE projects are funded, in part, by grants from the Nevada Arts Council, a state agency, the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency, and the WESTAF TourWest grant program. The ACE Committee is also responsible for the Argentum literary magazine. Visit the Argentum web page and learn how you can contribute your own literary and artistic talents.

Have an idea for new events? Want to help? Contact Michael Bail at 775-753-2241 for more information! View the 2016 ACE Calendar of Events document!
