Course Assessments

As per GBC Policies and Procedures 2.3 on Institutional Assessment and as outlined in the GBC Institutional Assessment Plan 2015-2020, instructional faculty assess student learning outcomes in at least one course per semester and at a minimum each course they teach within a five year rotation. Faculty analyze and report intended student learning outcomes using the course assessment report form and directions for completion as outlined and monitored by the Faculty Senate Assessment Committee.

See the Assessment Resources webpage for templates on course assessment reports and Bloom's Taxonomy for help in writing expected learning outcomes. GBC's Institutional Assessment Plan is there as well.
